KensoBI Launches AI-Powered Anomaly Detection for BI Dashboards

WARSAW, Poland — September 7, 2026 — KensoBI, the business intelligence platform for fast-moving product and data teams, today announced the general availability of AI-Powered Anomaly Detection, a new capability that automatically flags unexpected changes in key metrics directly inside dashboards.

Until now, catching a metric anomaly meant someone noticing a strange chart during a weekly review — often days after the underlying issue started. KensoBI's new detection engine continuously models the expected range for each metric and highlights points that fall outside it, with a plain-language explanation of what changed and when.

"Dashboards are supposed to answer 'is everything okay?' without anyone having to ask," said a KensoBI spokesperson. "Anomaly detection means the dashboard tells you the moment something isn't, instead of waiting for you to find it."

What's new

  • Automatic baselines — no manual thresholds; KensoBI learns normal ranges per metric, including seasonality and trend.
  • Inline annotations — anomalies appear directly on the chart with a short explanation, not buried in a separate alerts tab.
  • Alert routing — anomalies can be pushed to Slack, email, or webhooks so the right team hears about it immediately.

Availability

AI-Powered Anomaly Detection is available today to all KensoBI Cloud customers on the Team and Enterprise plans, with self-hosted support planned for a future release.
